I’m 30 years old, happily married and pregnant with my first child. Looking back, I made a lot of choices that could have led to disaster: I met my husband when I was 20, and just a few months later we moved across the country and shacked up together. We didn't talk about our expectations for kids or any other important matters before jumping head-first into a commitment.
Despite the wrong turns, I got lucky, and I’m with a man I know you would be proud of.
Since listening to you, I went from a career-focused sales executive making big money to wanting to stay home and raise a family. My husband agrees and has stepped up for a promotion and is focused on being the best provider he can be for us.
And because of you, I know how to treat him kindly.
I have a sticky note on my computer to remind me to ask myself “How can I make him happy to be married to me?” Sometimes that means making him a sandwich without him asking or flashing him at random times to make him smile.
Thank you for all that you do. It’s because of you that I know how to treat my husband so that our happy streak will continue for years to come.
