Chasing My Wife Is Necessary for a Happy Marriage
I often advise women how they can please their man, but male listeners like Mike are a great example of how husbands should also keep things exciting:
I heard you ask listeners to write in and tell you what they do to keep their marriages happy.
I wanted to share my trick for keeping marriage fun. When I get home, I give my wife a little spank on the bottom and harass her until she chases me around the kitchen. When the kids were young, they used to root me on. Now that they’re grown and out of the house, I still do the same thing, and it always ends with me giving her a giant kiss and her forgetting what she's doing long enough for me to tell her I love her, and how I've missed her that day. She gives me an exasperated smack on the shoulder or a "Damn it, Michael" with a grin.
It's our way of shedding the stress of the day, and it reminds us we belong together.
